Maura Walsh is the Founder and Managing Director of Your Home Now Ltd and a recognised advocate for leaseholder empowerment and competent self-management.

With over 25 years of senior leadership experience, including managing large operational teams in Social Care, Maura brings strong governance, risk management and delivery discipline into the property sector. She transitioned into property in 2008 as an accidental landlord and quickly encountered the systemic failures that many leaseholders face: poor building management, inflated service charges, lack of transparency and limited control.

Rather than accept those conditions, Maura built deep expertise in the Right to Manage (RTM) process and the operational realities that follow. Through leading multiple RTM projects and resolving complex building issues first-hand, she has developed practical, evidence-led approaches to governance recovery, compliance stabilisation, dispute preparation and long-term asset protection.

Today, Maura works with leaseholders and resident directors who want decisive, commercially grounded strategy to regain control of mismanaged buildings, reduce risk exposure and operate with confidence at board level.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in Social Care, where she managed teams of 60+, Maura transitioned into the property sector in 2008 and has never looked back.

Since founding PM Renovations Ltd in 2018, she’s grown it into a respected South London investment company with a diverse portfolio of properties and renovation projects. Alongside that, she launched Your Home Now Ltd to further support homeowners, leaseholders, and property investors through high-quality property services.

Through her personal journey as an accidental landlord and property investor, Maura has dealt with the exact issues leaseholders face: poor building management, high service charges, and lack of control. That’s what led her to master the Right to Manage (RTM) process—not only for her own investments but to help others navigate the legal and practical challenges of taking back control.
